Two DeMatha football players receive college offers

NJ.com and 247sports.com both report that DeMatha Catholic High School sophomore Elijah Johnson was made an offer by Rutgers at the Big Man Academy.  Johnson told NJ.com:

The o-line coach came over to me and told me and my father to come meet up after the practice was over,” said Johnson, who is being recruited as an offensive guard. “So we walked to coach (Kyle) Flood’s office and he was there waiting to talk to us and they offered me.

Cleveland.com reports that three-star DeMatha Catholic High School safety Tyler Green was offered a scholarship by Ohio State University. The news and information site says this is the offer Green was waiting for:

Green didn’t have to wait until after the camp to know that he was going to be a Buckeye. The way his parents were rejoicing with Johnson, Green knew that he got what he came all the way from Maryland for.
