Letters should be no more than 250 words and should relate to an article or other item published in the Hyattsville Life & Times (HL&T), the College Park Here & Now (CPH&N), or The Laurel Independent (TLI). They may not have been submitted to or published by other media outlets. They should include the writer’s full name and a sentence-long description of the writer. Letters are edited for clarity and conformance to style guidelines and are sometimes shortened to fit the available space. The opinions expressed are those of the writer and not those of the HL&T or the CPH&N.
