Police search for critical missing adult

alertThe Hyattsville City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a critical missing adult.

William Edward Harkins Jr., 83 years-old, was last seen at 6525 Belcrest Road in Hyattsville around 2:00pm on Monday, August 18.

Police say Harkins suffers from dementia.  He was last seen wearing a light tan shirt, blue jeans, and brown sandals.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to call police at 301-985-5060.   Reference case #14-2259.
