PHOTOS: The hullabaloo around gingerbread houses

BY NANCY GILLETTE — Updated at 2:35 p.m. On Sunday, Dec. 14, Art Works hosted a free gingerbread house workshop in their Mount Rainier studio. Organizers estimate 220 people came to the Gingerbread House Holiday Hullabaloo. Participants emptied boxes of graham crackers and dug into bags of assorted candies. Santa Claus even paid a visit to the sweet treat builders, many of whom could not resist testing out the building materials.
