Metro announces Sunday schedule for Thanksgiving

BY REBECCA BENNETT — The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority said rail and bus lines will operate on a Sunday schedule for Thanksgiving.  Metro said that no track work is scheduled for the holiday, metro stations will open at 7 a.m., off-peak fares and free parking at metro facilities.

MetroAccess will operate starting at 7 a.m. as well, according to WMATA, but all subscription trips will be canceled unless a customer requests to travel on Thanksgiving.
