The FBI is investigating an incident near Lake Artemesia after a body was found in the woods on Nov. 3, according to unofficial reports.
In an email to College Park Here & Now, the FBI’s media relations office in Baltimore said the agency would not comment because “the law enforcement activity is part of an ongoing investigation.”
A resident of Sweetbriar Drive said a law enforcement official who was at the scene on Nov. 3 revealed that a body had been found in the wooded area between Lake Artemesia and nearby homes.
The official reportedly told the resident the incident did not present any danger to those living nearby.
The incident reportedly occurred in the College Park Estates neighborhood. Residents of Yarrow, a few blocks away, said they saw law enforcement officials walking through their neighborhood around noon on Nov. 3.
