The incident happened in the 4400 block of Hartwick Road. Armed with a knife, he attempted to drag the victim away, according to police, but stumbled, which allowed her to escape. Police say the victim was not hurt.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a red flannel shirt or coat, dirty fingernails and a foul body odor.
