The results of the November 4 election (rounded to the nearest percentage) were as follows:
MD Governor: 51% for Larry Hogan (R)
MD Comptroller: 63% for Peter Franchot (D)
MD Attorney General: 56% for Brian Frosh (D)
MD U.S. House District 4: 70% for Donna Edwards (D)
MD State House District 22 (three seats): 32% for Tawanna Gaines (D), 31% for Alonzo Washington (D), and 30% for Anne Healy (D).
MD State House District 47A (two seats): 52% for Diana Fennell (D) and 41% for James Tarlau (D)
MD State House District 47B (one seat): 99% for Will Campos (D)
MD PG County Executive: 99% for Rushern Baker (D)
MD PG County Councilmanic District 2: 99% for Deni Taveras (D)
MD Question 1 – Transportation Trust Funds: 82% for
MD Question 2 – Special Election: 81% for
MD PG County Question A – Public Safety Facilities Bonds: 84% for
MD PG County Question B – Library Facilities Bonds: 84% for

50.24% for Dinora Hernandez, 49.42% for Amber Waller
The four final ballots were counted on November 14. Two absentee votes for Waller put her at 49.92 percent and two votes for Hernandez put her at 50.24 percent. A total of 97 votes separated the two candidates. According to the Prince George’s County Board of Elections, Waller has three days to request a recount. The Hyattsville Life & Times will have the latest results.
