Tenants at The Seasons apartments in Laurel report they have had no hot water since April 10.
Emails from management obtained by The Laurel Independent confirm that there has been a need for repair to the water system of 9620 Barrel House Road since April 10, and say the company installed a temporary hot water heater April 16. According to management emails, hot water is limited with the temporary tank, and tenants should take short showers.
Management told tenants they expect the delivery of a new water heater with 5 to 8 business days of April 16. That could put installation off as late as April 28.
Meanwhile, tenants say they still have no hot water on April 17.
The Laurel fire marshal and the company’s management office did not immediately return a request for comment.
In February 2025, tenants at a building in Ohio with the same owner, Goldollar, reported a hot water outage of over two weeks. The company paid the Ohio tenants $400 in return for a release of liability and an agreement not to complain.
