Luis Vaca-Soto, museum administrator for LHS, is currently serving as interim director until a new director is hired.

Education and outreach coordinator Abby Carver accepted a new position as a private school teacher. Her last day was also Feb. 28, Vaca-Sotos said.

Maria Gonzales Jackson, the society’s volunteer services coordinator,  is taking on additional responsibilities to help with the changes, he said.

He clarified that the staffing changes had no effect on the new exhibit.
