According to the Prince George’s County Schools (PGCPS) website, schools & offices are closed today, Friday Dec. 5, due to worsening weather. Only emergency personnel must report to work, and all facility use is cancelled.
Snow globe style snow is falling on the Route 1 Corridor. In some areas in the south of the county, snow this morning is forecast to accumulate up to 4 inches, according to the Capital Weather Gang.
PGCPS emails, texts and voicemails went out between 8 and 8:15am, updating a 2-hour delay notice sent out on the evening of Thursday Dec. 4.
