PHOTOS: HAP hosts annual Valentine-making party

Posted on: February 7, 2018

By KRISSI HUMBARD — On Feb. 3, Hyattsville Aging in Place hosted its annual intergenerational Valentine’s Day card-making party. HAP provided all the supplies — papers, stickers, ribbons, images and markers — and encouraged residents of all ages to make Valentine’s Day cards for family and friends, as well as for Hyattsville seniors. The cards made for area seniors will be delivered by HAP volunteers in time for Valentine’s Day. The free event took place at the Hyattsville Municipal Building. Live music was provided by the Sligo Creek Recorder Club.
