BY REBECCA BENNETT — On Saturday, Aug. 29, The Mall at Prince Georges hosted a Back to School Pep Rally to celebrate the final weeks of school shopping for fall. The mall-wide event included live entertainment, prizes, a storytime and facepainting.
Featured performances included Northwestern High School Cheerleaders, Jazz Band and Navy JROTC. Local artist Leslie Holt also lead a kids’ art activity.
