Local fire. Three Prince George’s County firefighters suffered injuries as they put out a fire in the 9500 block of 49th Place on the afternoon of Jan. 28. All were treated and released from the hospital.
A Prince George’s Fire/EMS Department spokesman said lithium batteries that were charging an electric scooter inside the house started the fire.
Four family members inside the house escaped without injury.
