Hyattsville Elementary School (HES) is conducting a winter coat drive, according to the HES Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Coats for children in need that would fit boys and girls ages 3 to 11 are welcome. The PTA’s Facebook page says that donations can be dropped off until Dec. 16 at the HES main office at 5311 43rd Avenue. Donations are accepted Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
