BY REBECCA BENNETT  — On April 22, the Hyattsville Life & Times hosted the 2015 Hyattsville City Election Candidate Forum, which brought together 13 of the city’s 15 candidates for Hyattsville City Council.

The April 22 Hyattsville City Election Forum is available for playback streaming online.  The forum will replay at 9:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. until the election on Verizon channel 12 and Comcast channel 71, but will be preempted by live council meetings.

The candidates were asked questions about senior needs, infrastructure, the budget and other topics.

Dozens of questions were sent in from local residents, which were sent to the candidates to answer in their own forum or a public forum of their choice, such as the HOPE listserv.
