UPDATE: Supporters view resident’s hockey documentary

BY MARK GOODSON — Hyattsville resident Boe Leslie and his brother Nate travelled to Mongolia to create a documentary about ice hockey. Leslie held a free viewing of the completed documentary at Vigilante Coffee on Monday, Jan. 18. Local residnets supported the project received financial support through kickstarter.com and Leslie wanted to show his appreciation.

The documentary premiers in Vancouver, B.C. on Friday, Jan. 22. The title of the documentary is Rinks of Hope: Project Mongolia, and it follows the brothers’ travel to several Mongolian cities and towns to teach the sport, donate gear, and engage in friendly competition with locals.
