Stabbing near West Hyattsville Metro

A spokesperson for the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority says that a 43 -year-old man was stabbed near the West Hyattsville Metro station around 2:30a.m Sunday morning.  The man was reportedly walking on a footpath near the metro station when he was attacked.  The man was taking to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not identified a suspect and are currently investigating the incident.
