PHOTOS: Young and old gather to spread some love for Valentine’s Day

Posted on: February 12, 2019

On Saturday, Feb. 2, Hyattsville Aging in Place (HAP) once again helped Hyattsville residents spread some love by hosting their annual intergenerational Valentine’s Day card-making party. HAP provided all the supplies — papers, stickers, ribbons, images and markers — and residents of all ages were encouraged to make Valentine’s Day cards for family and friends, as well as for senior citizens in Hyattsville. The event took place at the Hyattsville Municipal Building. Live music was provided by the Sligo Creek Recorder Club.
