BY REBECCA BENNETT – After being postponed twice because of the weather, the Ward 5 community day held out for perfect weather on Oct. 31.  The event, held at Hyatt Park, included various community groups, a bounce house, food, information about breast cancer and domestic violence, as well as a raffle for Rosa Parks Elementary School.

Jimmy “Point Man” Livingston, a Vietnam veteran who has lived on Hamilton Street for 42 years, said he and his grandson Lynn won the raffle three times.
