PHOTOS: Kids take to the dance floor at annual Parent & Child Dance Party

Posted on: March 2, 2016

BY REBECCA BENNETT — On Saturday, Feb. 27, the City of Hyattsville hosted its annual Parent & Child Dance Party.  This year’s theme was “Follow the Yellow Brick Road,” and included decorations from the Wizard of Oz.  Music included new and old hits. Many kids stopped and sang along when “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen came on and kids and parents alike got out on the dance floor to do a popular line dance.  Volunteers manned a photo booth where participants could dress up and take home a printed memento.
