The local community geared up for the Annual Hyattsville Arts Festival returns for its 7th year to remind us all why this area is proudly deemed the Gateway Arts District.

An estimated 4,500 attendees were expected to turn up on September 13th along Baltimore Ave. (Route 1) and Jefferson St., from 11 a.m. to 5 pm., to check out local artists, artisans, musicians, and dancers.

At this year’s festival, visitors could walk along Jefferson Street, Route 1, and neighboring sidewalk areas to browse and shop crafts, furnishings, jewelry, literary works, photography, paintings, and other original artwork from local vendors and artists.
