A V.I.B. (Very Important Bunny) hopped into town over the weekend, much to the delight of dozens of children.

The city held its annual Great Magruder Park Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast on March 24. Volunteers served breakfast from 9-11 a.m. while others spread eggs filled with candy. Starting at 11 a.m., children rushed the fields — organized by age group — to snatch up the brightly colored eggs. Those eggs didn’t stand a chance.
