BY REBECCA BENNETT — A new speed camera has been installed in the northbound 7500 block of Adelphi Road, which is right in front of St. Mark’s Church and College Park Academy.

According to the City of Hyattsville, the camera went online on May 18, but warnings will be issued for the first 15 days.  The speed limit in the area is 30 miles per hour.

A memorandum of understanding for the speed camera was established last summer.
