National Night Out Against Crime happened on Tuesday on Hamilton Street at Queens Chapel Road. The purpose of the event is to get neighbors talking to neighbors and acquainted with law enforcement.
The event shut down Hamilton Street in West Hyattsville and brought in Mandy the Clown, the new Hyattsville City Police humvee, and demonstrations by various local responders.
