Letter to the Editor: Disappointment with Laurel Election Coverage

Posted on: October 12, 2023

I write to express my dismay that your “newspaper” has become a tabloid. A number of your recent articles about the mayor’s election have been one sided and seemingly biased. It is a shame that your reporting has served to divide and push for an agenda that favors one candidate over others. I’m so sorry that you have taken this direction. Your credibility has been seriously compromised in my opinion. I fear that your reporting has created an atmosphere whereby whoever becomes the next mayor of Laurel will not enjoy the good will of many of the residents of this great city. Too bad.
