BY REBECCA BENNETT — On Dec. 12, students from Club Joe’s Arts After School Care at Joe’s Movement Emporium presented what they had learned in a showcase called What Happens at 3309 Bunker Hill Road. According to the event’s Facebook page, performances included “African dance, Merengue, Salsa, Hooping, Yoga, Creative Mov, Spoken word, Capoeira, Hip-hop, tumbling, and jump rope.”
The after school program, according to its website, is geared towards the 5- to 12-year-old crowd and runs late August through early June.
