Hyattsville sees winter weather on Valentine’s Day

BY REBECCA BENNETT — On Saturday, Feb. 14, the Washington, D.C. metro region was predicted to receive up to an inch of snow with wind chills possible to -15 degrees. A winter weather advisory was issued until midnight Saturday.

In the early evening, Hyattsville saw dense snowfall, which caused white out conditions for a short time in various parts of the city. According to the City of Hyattsville, public works crews will be on duty tonight monitoring road conditions and treating road surfaces as needed.
