BY REBECCA BENNETT — Michelle Obama visited Children’s National Health System on Monday, Dec. 15 for the annual First Lady’s reading of the Night Before Christmas.  Hyattsville-based Just Rock Enterprises (JRE) was invited to perform during this historic event, which dates back 60 years, according to the hospital.

The hospital says JRE helped lead patients and families in interactive holiday songs and games.  According to JRE president Shelita Vaughns White, more than 15 of their students and instructors performed in front of the First Lady, including: Jordan, Doug, Zahra, Chloe, Sadia, Malik, Juliette, Mickey, Zionna, Adeline, Rachel, Carli, Tee, Sabrina, Gus, Keaton and Deylan.

White says JRE was invited to perform at the event again next year, which she says has them thrilled.
