Happy Thanksgiving from the Hyattsville Life & Times team! We are so grateful we have the opportunity to cover this great community. We are thankful to you, our readers and neighbors, who make this a wonderful place to live. And we are thankful to our advertisers, whose continued support means so much to us. We are also grateful to our staff and volunteer writers, who continually produce informative and interesting content.

Over the years, we have shined a light on some of the many residents who do great things for our community; we have highlighted new businesses and organizations coming to the city; we have kept you up-to-date on city council happenings and city programs; we have covered school events and featured some outstanding students. We have reported on day-to-day city functions and crime, working to keep you informed about your city.

We feel thankful to live in such a diverse and engaged community, with neighbors from all different backgrounds. We are thankful to our local officials and city staff, who work to make this a better place to live. And we are thankful to our police officers and firefighters, who work tirelessly to make the city a safer place.

As a nonprofit, we depend on our readers and advertisers to keep the newspaper going. We really couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for giving us a chance to tell your stories and for supporting us over the years.

We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with all the things that make you thankful.
