DeMatha renames building after fallen Navy SEAL

BY REBECCA BENNETT — According to Gazette.net, DeMatha Catholic High School renamed its convocation center in honor of a U.S. Navy SEAL killed in Afghanistan in 2010.

The Gazette reports that the school held a dedication ceremony on August 23 to recognize the Lt. (SEAL) Brendan Looney ‘99 Convocation Center.  Looney was 1999 graduate of the school.
