BY MARK GOODSON — DeMatha’s chorus, the Voices of DeMatha, sang Wednesday at the inauguration of newly-elected Gov. Larry Hogan in Annapolis, Md. The group sang a series of songs—such as “America, the Beautiful”—as guests took their seats. Gov. Hogan attended DeMatha before he moved to Florida to complete his high school career.

“It was a breathtaking experience being at the state house and representing my school,” says Ryan Parker, a senior from Upper Marlboro.
