You can still participate!  Stop by 4310 Gallatin Street in Hyattsville this week:

  • September 18 from  5 to 8 p.m. – Community drop in times to see preliminary plan progress
  • September 20 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Plan Alternatives Meeting, doors open at 9 a.m.

Dozens of community members gathered at the Hyattsville Municipal Building on Wednesday to participate in a community design workshop for the area around the Prince George’s Plaza Metro Station.

What did your neighbors and community members have to say about a 20-year plan for a “new downtown?”  The Hyattsville Life & Times was there for the kick-off meeting and we will have a full report, including a preliminary plan for the area, in October’s print edition.
